A clear training sequence

1. Nominate a competent trainer and add the site's procedures.
2. Explain and demonstrate the required practices.
3. Observe the learner doing the work.
4. Assess understanding, correct gaps and reassess where needed.
5. Record trainer/manager sign-off and plan the follow-up review.

A written pass does not override unsafe practice. Keep answer keys trainer-only and confidential personnel information separate from kitchen training records.

Training status

This is employer-provided in-house training. It is not currently CPD accredited and is not a regulated Level 2 qualification. Use competent supervision and site-specific procedures; obtain separate qualifications where required for your circumstances.
